How to import a request (e.g. for tender) into the 360 internal portal (for subsequent release)

It is quite common for request managers to prepare their questions and sections outside of 360 within an Excel spreadsheet.

The main benefit of doing so is to enter questions and weights without the delay of web browser page refreshes.

This article explains how to upload a spreadsheet to populate a request.

Step-by-step guide

To create or populate a request from a spreadsheet:

  1. Sign-in to https://360users.apetsoftware.com.au/ as the Request Manager

  2. From the main menu, click on Requests

  3. Click Import Request

  4. Prepare your import file by:

    1. Downloading the Example Import file

    2. Replacing its contents to suit your request

  5. Click Choose File, and upload the prepared file

  6. Optionally, select the request (if adding more questions into an existing request)

  7. Click Import

At this point, a notice regarding the success or otherwise of your import will be displayed.  The request will not be automatically published.

Instructions for using the various options (and there are many) are contained within the example import file and within in the Merge / Import Request page's Introduction, Data Format and Tutorial sections.

Training and assistance can also be provided should dependency sections and questions or other complex options make it all seem too hard.
