How to release (publish) a request to the 360 public portal

In order to receive submissions from providers, a request must be published:

  • Either as an invitation-only request or a public request
  • Either immediately or in the future

Before an approach to market can released to providers, it needs some minimum criteria.  This article doesn't attempt to explain each one - just the main ones and how to find out what else is required

Step-by-step guide

To publish a request:

  1. Sign-in to https://360users.apetsoftware.com.au/ as the Request Manager
  2. From the main menu, click Requests
  3. If using the old look:
    1. Select the request from the list
  4. If using the new look:
    1. Click Drafts
    2. Click Configure
    3. Click Old Look's Request Info
  5. Hover over the   icon
  6. Address each of the items listed - the main ones are:
    1. None of the questions are weighted
    2. A section doesn't have any questions
    3. No one is selected to fill one of the roles (such as evaluators)
    4. One of the optional parts of the questionnaire (such as costs) has not been configured
    5. The request is public but its categorisation options have not been considered
    6. It is a leading request in a hierarchical request but one of the subordinate requests is not ready for publishing
    7. The approval steps have not been completed
  7. Once the   icon is displayed, click Review Release
  8. If requested, click Send for Approval
  9. Set the Release Date and Time
  10. Click Publish

When the request's release date and time has elapsed the request will be released to either the selected providers or the public.

Notes:

  • When approval is required, the approver must click Approve for Release on the Request Info tab
  • Two levels of approval can be required (ADCOM extension)
  • The   icon is displayed when 360 is managing the request's release and there is nothing more for the request manager to do
