It is common for a long tender to be broken up into sections. For example, you may wish to break a request's questionnaire into Financial, Experience, WHS, and Price sections.
Step-by-step guide
To add a sections
Sign-in to https://360users.apetsoftware.com.au/ as the Request Manager
From the main menu, click Requests
If using the new look:
Click Drafts
Click Configure against the desired request
Click either:
Request Info (Old Look)
Click on the icon
Note: if the icon is not available, a new request will need to be created with the Section Required? option set to Yes.Request Dashboard (New Look)
Click Questionnaire
Click Section/Category List Actions menu
Click Add Section/Category
Enter Section/Category Title
Select Section/Category Visibility (ADCOM extension - see note below)
Display to Respondents (Providers/Respondents to the request will see this Section/Category always) or
Display to Respondents (depending on previous response) (The Request’s Providers/Respondents will see this Section/Category only based on a question response earlier in the request) If this option is selected, Click on More Options to choose your trigger question.
Display to Evaluators only (The Section/Category will only be displayed to Evaluators and never to the Providers/Respondents)
Select Scores apply to:
Evaluation Criteria
Evaluation Criteria for a Single Category (ADCOM extension - see note below)
Neither (no criteria will be scored in this section) (Relative weight is not applicable if this option is chosen)
Specify the Relative Weight
Click Save
The new section's name will appear in the navigation menu at the top of the screen. Click on it to add questions.
Please note:
There must be at least one section with a weight above 0 (and it must have at least one question with a weight above 0)
The ADCOM extension allows the creation of Single-Submission Hierarchical Requests (which allow a section to be evaluated separately from others - which is ideal for optional components)
