Quite often, the same procurement requirements are needed again and again. For example, road repairs are required after each heavy rain.
Copying a request or creating a new request from a template can save a lot of time.
Step-by-step guide
To copy a request:
- Sign-in to https://360users.apetsoftware.com.au/ as the Request Manager
- From the main menu, click Requests
- If using new look:
Click either:
You can copy any request which is currently in either Draft, Open, Closed or have been finalised by the Request Manager
- Drafts
- Open / Pending / In Late Submission Period
- Closed / Awaiting Finalisation
- Finalised
- If in the Drafts requests list:
- Click Configure against the desired request
- If in the Open or Closed or Finalised requests list:
- Click Manage against the desired request
- Click either:
- Request Info (Old Look)
- Request Dashboard (New Look)
- Click Copy Request from Actions menu
- If using the old look:
- Select the request from the list
- Click on the icon
- If available, select the Destination Account's Boss and enter their password (allows copying the request from one account to another)
- Enter the new request details:
- New Request Name
- Closing Date
- Closing Time
- Click Copy
At this point, you have successfully duplicated a request and it can be edited and/or published at your leisure.
Security Note
When copying a request, the default users from the system settings are combined with the copied request's assigned users.
It is a good idea to check the assigned users - see: How to assign users to a request (grant or revoke access) in the 360 buyers' portal
There are other ways to add requests to 360. You can import an Excel spreadsheet or use a template. See the related articles below.
