What options does the 'Rates' tab have in a Plant Hire request in 360

When using 360 to create a new panel of plant and equipment suppliers, the hire rates will need to specified - e.g. $/hour, $/day, $/week.

Step-by-step guide

To set the rates that suppliers/providers must provide:

  1. Enter the Number of Rate Types - the number of prices available for each hire item
  2. Enter the Rate Name for each rate type - e.g. $/hour
  3. Enter the Hours Per Day - typically 8
  4. Enter the Days Per Week - typically 5


When using 360 to create a new panel of plant and equipment suppliers, sometimes the new panel will have different rate names from existing panels.  For example, changing $/h and $/d to $/half day and $/full day.

Plant Hire only supports one set of rate names so prior to transferring the chosen providers from 360 to Plant Hire, Plant Hire's rates names must be set to the ones that were used in 360.
