360 Internal Portal - Evaluator FAQs

Is 360 a government owned website?

No. simplylogical.net (a software development company in Canberra) licences 360 to government and private industry organisations.

If I’ve got a question, who do I ask?

For questions about the request contents or providers' responses, please contact the request manager.

For questions about how to use 360 or if there seems to be an error with the system, please contact the technical support team – support@simplylogical.net.

What do I need in order to evaluate?

An invitation from the request manager.  See: How to assign users to a request (grant or revoke access) in the 360 internal portal

A computer with an internet connection and a modern browser.  See: What do I need (minimum system requirements) to use 360?

Can I edit a provider's tendered price if it is incorrect?

It depends on your access rights and the system settings.  360 supports the price being entered or overridden by evaluators but the feature can be disabled.  See: How to assign a comparison price for fixed-price tenders and quotes in 360 internal portal

How does the Risk Assessment feature affect a provider's ranking?

It applies a penalty to the value for money assessment separately from the raw score.  See: How to assess risk when evaluating a provider's response in 360

How does the Info Tags feature work?

Info tags are used to highlight responses in a simple and standard way.  Tags such as "Clarification Needed" and "Guidance Requested" quickly highlight work to be done without delaying the evaluation process.

How does the Consensus Evaluation feature work?

Often the request manager sets themselves to be the consensus evaluator when the evaluation team has done as much as they can do.  They enter the non-contentious scores, ensure comments are OK for provider debriefings, and then facilitate a meeting so the evaluation team can reach agreement.

How do I know how much work I have to do during the evaluation?

The evaluation status can be checked at any time by clicking on How much more needs evaluating? on the Evaluation Info screen.  An excel spreadsheet will be downloaded with the list of evaluated and unevaluated questions.

What are do all these strange words mean?

Getting the right words in a computer program can be pretty hard.  Please see: What are the key terms in 360? (definitions/lexicon)
